As Abonesepeti Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. (hereinafter referred to as “Abonesepeti”), we attach the utmost importance to the protection and security of your personal data. Your personal data provided to Abonesepeti are processed for the purpose of delivering our services to you, our valued customers, in a fast, easy, and reliable manner, and may be transferred to third parties where necessary. Within this scope, the personal data you share with Abonesepeti may be processed in compliance with applicable legislation, in connection with and limited to our field of activity and service purposes, transferred to third parties when required, and stored for the periods prescribed by law.

1. Principles and Legal Grounds for the Processing of Your Personal Data

Abonesepeti is a subscription management platform that helps you initiate, manage, terminate subscriptions, and more. Within the framework of service agreements concluded with institutions that establish subscriptions, Abonesepeti provides services to end users.

The personal data of our customers and members are processed in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye, the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, the Turkish Penal Code, and other applicable legislation.

Within the scope of services provided by Abonesepeti, your personal data are processed:

  • in accordance with the principles of good faith and lawfulness,
  • accurately and up to date,
  • for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes,
  • in a manner that is relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purposes of processing.

Your personal data are processed and stored to enable you to benefit from the services offered through Abonesepeti’s website and/or applications. Although the scope of personal data may vary depending on the product or service provided by Abonesepeti, they may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically, by automatic or non-automatic means, primarily through the website and applications and through other channels where Abonesepeti intermediates the services provided to you.

As long as you benefit from Abonesepeti’s products and services, your personal data may be processed based on your consent given before the effective date of KVKK, your explicit consent given after its effective date, or within the framework of the rules and conditions set forth in KVKK.

2. Methods of Collection and Types of Personal Data Collected

You may provide Abonesepeti with personal information such as your email address, name, surname, Turkish ID number, identity details, home or business address, or phone number; as well as demographic information such as postal code, age, gender, preferences, interests, and favorites. If payment is made via the website or application, additional information regarding the payment transaction may also be provided and recorded by Abonesepeti. We would like to expressly state that Abonesepeti does not store credit card information in its own systems.

In addition, Abonesepeti may process users’ activities within the system while they benefit from the services, for service improvement and statistical purposes. In such cases, information such as the website that referred you to Abonesepeti, the search engines and keywords you used, pages viewed on our website, browser add-ons, and browser window dimensions may be processed. We use website analytics tools to collect this information. Technologies such as cookies and web beacons may be used to collect information about pages you view, links you click, and other actions you take through our website or application. We may also receive standard information automatically sent by your browser, such as your IP address, browser type and language, access times, and referring website addresses.

When you receive newsletters or promotional emails from Abonesepeti, we may use web beacons, customized links, or similar technologies to determine whether the email was opened and which links were clicked.

Abonesepeti collects and uses personal information necessary to operate and improve its services. These uses may include providing more effective customer support, simplifying the use of applications and services by eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information, conducting research and analysis to improve our services, and displaying customized content based on your interests and preferences.

We may also use your personal information to communicate with you. This may include sending mandatory service communications such as welcome emails, invoices and payment reminders, campaigns, announcements, surveys and forum notifications, technical service notices, and security alerts.

When you fill out forms on Abonesepeti’s website or applications, your personal data are processed in accordance with the purpose of the form and, where you have separately consented to commercial electronic communications, for the limited purpose of providing information about services via email or SMS.

Your collected personal data are processed in accordance with the conditions specified in KVKK for the purposes of ensuring that you can easily and securely benefit from Abonesepeti’s products and services, customizing and recommending products and services based on your demands, needs, and usage habits, determining and evaluating Abonesepeti’s commercial strategies, and conducting legal processes between you and Abonesepeti effectively and efficiently.

Within this scope, your personal data are processed for purposes such as:

  • identifying and verifying the user of the Abonesepeti website and/or applications,
  • recording identity, contact, and other required information to provide services,
  • issuing invoices in accordance with applicable legislation,
  • offering personalized advertisements, campaigns, and benefits with your explicit consent,
  • performing user segmentation and data mining, and determining strategies based on website and application usage,
  • evaluating and resolving user requests, complaints, and suggestions,
  • fulfilling our rights and obligations arising from applicable legislation.

Sensitive personal data (such as religion, sect, ethnic origin, race, etc.) are not requested or processed by Abonesepeti without your explicit consent. To help prevent unauthorized access to your personal information, you must log in using your own credentials (email address, mobile phone, and password) and not share them with third parties. You can access and update your profile and session information, and view your personal data, via Profile/Account Settings > Personal Information.

The personal data processed may vary depending on the products or services provided by Abonesepeti. Personal data collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through online or offline means are processed during the period you benefit from Abonesepeti’s products and services, based on consent given before or after the effective date of KVKK or within the rules and conditions specified therein.

3. Security of Personal Data

Abonesepeti adopts the principle of protecting your personal information. We use various security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Your personal data are stored in computer systems located in controlled facilities with restricted access. When transmitting highly confidential information such as credit card numbers or passwords over the internet, we protect such data using encryption methods such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

If a password is used to protect your accounts and personal information, keeping this password confidential is your responsibility. Do not share it with anyone. If you share your computer with others, you should always log out before leaving a site or service to prevent subsequent users from accessing your information.

As a data controller, and in certain cases as a data processor under relevant agreements, Abonesepeti has assumed the necessary responsibilities to establish organizational structures and implement technical measures required to protect the confidentiality and integrity of personal data in accordance with applicable legislation. The processing and storage of personal data are carried out only by authorized and trained personnel in secure environments.

Your personal data will only be collected and processed within the scope of Abonesepeti’s activities and for the stated purposes, stored for the periods required by the purposes of processing or prescribed by law, and will not be processed beyond the limits set forth in KVKK. When the reasons requiring processing cease to exist, except where retention is required by other applicable legislation, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized ex officio or upon your request.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Abonesepeti acts in accordance with Article 8 of KVKK and other relevant provisions, as well as decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board, regarding the transfer of personal data. As a rule, your personal data are not transferred to third parties without your explicit consent, within the framework of KVKK and the purposes stated in this Disclosure Notice.

However, provided that necessary security measures are taken, personal data may be transferred domestically or abroad to third parties, business partners, service providers, payment service providers, regulatory and supervisory authorities, and official institutions, in line with our service purposes or as required by applicable legislation.

Except as stated in this Disclosure Notice, your personal data are not shared with third parties. We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes; instead, you may be given the option to receive communications from Abonesepeti on behalf of its business partners regarding special offers, without transferring your personal data to such third parties. In some cases, we may establish contractual relationships with third parties in compliance with applicable legislation to perform limited services on our behalf, such as mail processing and delivery, customer support, website hosting, conducting commercial transactions, or performing statistical analyses. These service providers may access only the information necessary to perform their services and are required to maintain confidentiality.

5. Determination of Responsibility

As Abonesepeti is a platform provided to managers of collective living spaces and authorized management companies to enable them to serve residents more effectively, Abonesepeti bears no responsibility for personal data included in Abonesepeti systems by such managers or companies without Abonesepeti’s approval and/or evaluation.

Within this framework, Abonesepeti does not intervene in personal data uploaded to its website or applications as part of its platform services. Accordingly, in some cases, requests you submit to Abonesepeti regarding your rights under Article 11 of KVKK may not be fulfilled by Abonesepeti. In such cases, we undertake to inform you accordingly.

6. Rights Regarding Personal Data

As the data subject, you have the right to inquire whether your personal data are processed, request information if they have been processed, learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose, inquire whether they are transferred domestically or abroad, request correction if processed incompletely or inaccurately, request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing, and request deletion or destruction of your personal data.

To exercise these rights, you may submit your request in accordance with Article 13 of KVKK, in writing to the address specified below, including your name, surname, signature, Turkish ID number (if you are a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye), nationality and passport number or ID number (if not a citizen), address for service, email address and phone number for notification, the subject of your request, and relevant information and documents for identity verification; or you may apply via email to obtain general information regarding KVKK.

Your application will be evaluated by Abonesepeti and concluded free of charge within thirty (30) days.
